How long does attar last?
Most attars last several hours on skin, and longer on clothing. Longevity depends on the oil, your skin and the weather.
How should I apply attar?
Apply a small amount to pulse points – wrists, neck and behind the ears. Do not rub the wrists together hard; let the oil settle.
Is attar alcohol-free?
Traditional attars and perfume oils are oil-based and generally alcohol-free. Check each product description for details.
Will oil stain clothes?
Some darker oils, especially oudh, can mark light fabrics. Test on a hidden area first.
How should I store perfume oil?
Keep bottles tightly closed, away from direct sunlight and heat.
How do I use bakhoor?
Heat a piece of bakhoor on a charcoal or electric burner and let the smoke scent your room or clothes. Never leave a burner unattended.
